We just returned from a super week of fun at the beach! Before we left, I personalized our swim rings with vinyl. I cut the outdoor vinyl using my Cricut. The font is Martian Mania from Lettering Delights. The rings still look great after a week of sun, sand & water. I found the rings at Wal-Mart for $1 a piece. The girls loved them & there was no fighting over which ring belonged to which girl :)

i recently used my cricut to put names on the buckets and cups we (me and the other room mom) for emily's class. we took them to the beach and even put the cup in the dishwasher and they both survived! i love the idea of putting them on rings - you are so crafty. :)
