Personalized Swim Rings

We just returned from a super week of fun at the beach! Before we left, I personalized our swim rings with vinyl. I cut the outdoor vinyl using my Cricut. The font is Martian Mania from Lettering Delights. The rings still look great after a week of sun, sand & water. I found the rings at Wal-Mart for $1 a piece. The girls loved them & there was no fighting over which ring belonged to which girl :)

Baby Blocks for Ben

I haven't been crafting much lately...my sweet little 5.5 month old is keeping me pretty busy (and still waking me up at night!) SO I try to squeeze in a project here & there. My nephew Ben celebrated his first birthday earlier this month so I made some baby blocks as a gift for him.

One side spells his name (Bennett)...

One side makes a puzzle....

One side has a car or some other transportation-related item...

The remaining sides are random papers...

This was a hybrid project made using Peppermint Creative's Traffic Jam Papers & Elements. I painted 2 inch blocks black & Mod Podged the printed graphics to the blocks. They turned out super cute!
